Taking refrigerator magnets to the extreme –
Came across this blog post featuring a cool refrigerator magnet item:

Not currently in stock, but it comes with almost 1300 pieces that you can arrange according to diagrams supplied by them (Che, James Bond and the Mona Lisa are among the other options if you aren’t interested in Audrey Hepburn) or make your own image. Cheaper than replacing your old refrigerator with a stainless one since HGTV & the like seem set on helping the appliance makers convince us that if it isn’t stainless it may as well be harvest gold from the 70s. Just buy two sets so you can cover both visible sides.
Instead of buying their product, you could also blow up one of your own images and print/have printed as magnets. Pretty sure there are photoshop tutorials online to help you get a similar look or you could use your image straight (probably not as fun though).
