In better news, Anthony Aiello is making his pro debut with the Florida Everblades tonight after getting hit in the face with a puck and requiring surgery during training camp.

When I looked on the Pioneer Press for the Barriball article, I noticed a link for an article – including the original 1909 piece – on the Rouser’s origin. Pretty cool other than this bit: “…Arrangements will at once be made to have the song copyrighted in President Northrop’s name. …”
