Jerry York and Jack Parker, 2010 Lester Patrick Award winners
Congratulations to Boston College head coach Jerry York, the winningest active D1 coach and 1984 (Bowling Green), 2001, 2008 and 2010 National Champion, and Boston University head coach Jack Parker, 1978, 1995 and 2009 National Champion, on winning the 2010 Lester Patrick Award along with Cam Neely and David Andrews, president of the AHL. The Award is given for outstanding service to hockey in the US.

2010 Traverse City: St. Louis Blues
The St. Louis Blues announced their roster for the 2010 Traverse City tournament earlier today. The following teams are participating in the tournament this year: the Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues and Tampa Bay Lightning. Players consist of prospects, signees and ATOs who may not have played more than one season of professional hockey.

Anthony Aiello
2008 National Champion Boston College Eagle Anthony Aiello has re-signed with the Stockton Thunder (ECHL), but will also have a tryout with the Oklahoma City Barons. His coach in Stockton, where he ended last season, had a lot of praise in a video interview following the signing and the Stockton Record titled their article “Defenseman’s ‘wow’ factor will return“.
