The Charlotte Checkers (Carolina Hurricanes’ AHL affiliate) announced his signing today. Have already done one mini-gallery as part of BC twitter post so for this one stuck with semi-closeup images. Also have images by season with BC as part of his milestones post- look forward to editing it again this coming season with his first AHL shutout.

Wednesday:
University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish practice. Note – I didn’t caption a lot of these so if a search doesn’t come up with your favorite player, you may want to look through them. I may come back to it after I edit the Regional games and have had a refresher on their faces (Notre Dame does not have player numbers on their practice sweaters or on their helmets so faces are it.)

University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs including “red carpet” entrance
University of Michigan Wolverines vs. University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux. Note – while I cropped the complete loser Sioux fan with his double fingered salute out of Michigan’s first goal celebration images, he is in some of the images from Michigan’s second goal. Do not understand why he was not moved from those seats after his earlier behavior. So pathetic especially considering his age.

Hockey Humanitarian and Hobey Baker Award ceremonies – Hockey Humanitarian Award ceremony featured the winner – Boston College Eagle Brooks Dyroff while the Hobey Baker Award featured the “Hobey Hat Trick” – Boston College Eagle Cam Atkinson, North Dakota Fighting Sioux Matt Frattin and winner Miami University RedHawk Andy Miele.
“Friday Night at the Frozen Four” – batched together images from the Michigan and Minnesota Duluth afternoon autograph sessions including the Wolverines walk to the rink from their hotel with images from the evening’s fan skate and autograph sessions.
