The Carolina Hurricanes obtained three players in three separate trades today: Bobby Sanguinetti from the Rangers, Riley Nash from the Oilers and Jonathan Matsumoto from the Flyers.

Cornell senior Justin Krueger was named to Team Germany.  The team is coached by Uwe Krupp with assistants Harold Kreis and Ernst Hofner.
