It is now official that Kevin Shattenkirk (earlier blog gallery) and Colby Cohen (earlier blog galleries 1  2) have foregone their remaining college eligibility to sign with the Colorado Avalanche.  BU senior Zach Cohen (couldn’t find an earlier gallery which seems odd) signed with the Avs when the Terriers season ended and is playing with the Lake Erie Monsters in Cleveland.

Check out the displays next time you are at Conte (hopefully either Friday, November 6 for the next women’s home game or Saturday, November 7 when there is a doubleheader – women at 2 pm; men at 7 pm) – the men’s display has been changed and the center section has Brock Bradford’s 2009 Male Eagle of the Year. While BC was defeating Merrimack, Bradford was scoring his first professional goal and following that up by scoring in the shootout and helping his Lake Erie Monsters defeat Ben Bishop’s Peoria Rivermen.

and include some BU alum on their current roster including Brandon Yip and Kevin Schaeffer

 
but it was Boston College’s former captain Brock Bradford that scored their gamewinner versus the Rochester Americans last night.

 
The Lake Erie Monsters roster also includes Ryan Stoa, Justin Mercier,

 and Kevin Montgomery.

Update:  Brett Motherwell is now with the Chicago Wolves.
