Traverse City – Carolina Hurricanes
The Carolina Hurricanes won the tournament in their first appearance and were led in scoring by Zach Boychuk:
Drayson Bowman – Hurricanes website article, previous blog gallery – and Jamie McBain who went pro following his junior year at the University of Wisconsin were among those tied for second in scoring.
Rasmus Rissanen attended the tournament, but was unable to play due to injury.
Spokane Chiefs – nice tradition
The Spokane Chiefs name their training camp teams after former captains each year. Nice way to honor those alumni and keep team history alive.
I’ve never gotten to shoot the Chiefs, or any Dub team, but I have gotten to shoot a few of their players as they compete internationally including the following current players (more images may be found by clicking on their names):
