Windsor Spitfires at Plymouth Whalers (OHL)

with one comment

During the 2010 Frozen Four in Detroit, I was lucky enough to get to go shoot Game 4 of the Windsor Spitfires at Plymouth Whalers OHL Western Conference Semifinals – thanks to Aaron, Walt, Pete, Rena & Chris for making it possible.

The main reason I really wanted to see/shoot the game was the number of US and/or BC-related players on the two rosters:

Plymouth Whalers
AJ Jenks – 2008 and 2009 USA Hockey U20 Evaluation Camp, 2010 WJC gold medal winner
Named Whalers Unsung Hero

Philip McRae (previous gallery) - 2008 and 2009 USA Hockey U20 Evaluation Camp, 2010 WJC gold medal winner
Named Whalers MVP for the playoffs

Beau Schmitz – 2009 USA Hockey U20 Evaluation Camp

Robbie Czarnik (previous gallery) – 2008 and 2009 USA Hockey U20 Evaluation Camp

Ryan Hayes – Boston College: 10/12/07-1/5/10
Named Whalers and Ontario Hockey League’s Humanitarian of the Year

Windsor Spitfires:
Cam Fowler (previous gallery) – 2008 and 2009 USA Hockey U20 Evaluation Camp, 2009 U18 Worlds gold medal winner, 2010 WJC gold medal winner

Kenny Ryan (previous galleries 1   2) – 2009 USA Hockey U20 Evaluation Camp, 2009 U18 Worlds gold medal winner and BC for 2 games – 10/4/09-10/9/09
